Hi, I’m Paulina
My design journey began in secondary school, where I taught myself Photoshop to create collages of my favorite bands, actors, and movies that I'd post on Tumblr. That early creative curiosity evolved into a passion for designing experiences that truly resonate with people, a passion that continues to drive my work today.
As a Senior Product Designer with over 7 years of experience, I create products that both move key metrics and make intuitive sense to users. I excel in ambiguous problem spaces, crafting clear narratives that guide decision-making. My approach balances speed with precision. I move quickly without sacrificing attention to detail, always learning and experimenting along the way.

Leading with curiosity and openness
I ask thoughtful questions and seek to understand the full picture. This approach helps uncover gaps, align teams early, and sharpen focus on what truly matters.

Making complexity feel understandable
I design experiences that simplify without oversimplifying. The goal is to help people feel confident and in control, even when navigating nuanced workflows.

Ship thoughtfully, together
I take ownership of design, but know the best results come from close collaboration. I work side-by-side with product, engineering, and research to stay aligned and keep momentum.

Mentoring with purpose
I love to support other designers by sharing practical feedback, helping them navigate tough challenges, and encouraging them to grow in areas that align with their strengths and goals.

Outside of work
I illustrate both digitally and traditionally, often creating animal characters dressed like humans and surrounded by lush florals or natural scenery. Acrylic gouache is my medium of choice.
Lately, I have been watching a lot of hockey and enjoying the pace and strategy of the game. Whenever I can, I explore Korean cuisine and try to recreate my favorite dishes at home with varying degrees of accuracy.
